Meet the Author

Rose McVey

Rose McVey was born and raised in Brazil and learned early what it means to face challenges with faith, courage and hard work. Still very young, while studying Physical Education, she took her first bold step: at 18, she walked into a neighborhood school to ask about a job and was invited to start teaching that very night. Nervous but determined, she said yes — and discovered her gift for guiding and encouraging people.

Over the years, Rose has been a teacher, mentor and organizer of community events, including creating a vibrant Brazilian “Festa Junina” celebration in Sacramento, California, that gathered hundreds of people from different cultures to experience joy, connection and the beauty of her roots. Her own journey includes overcoming fears, economic challenges and personal trauma, always choosing to keep moving toward the “mountain top” God placed in her heart.

Uma Jornada Para Prosperidade was born in a season of deep reflection, encouraged by her therapist and mentor Caio Gutierres, who saw the power in her stories and lessons. What began as a personal exercise in healing became this book: a practical and compassionate guide for anyone who wants to live with more meaning, courage and prosperity in every area of life.
